*CLOSED* Wanchai Ferry Review & Giveaway

I must admit, I do love to eat take-out (especially Chinese food), but I'm not always in the mood to 'go out'. In addition, I'm always strapped for time as a full-time student and opt for quick, delicious meals at home instead (that saves money, time and gas!).

I received the new Wanchai Ferry Broccoli & Beef to review. I had my doubts, as I have never made a frozen entreé before (just the microwavable-type) and had no clue as what to expect. One day, we needed a quick dinner, so I quickly read the simple directions and began to cook. My boyfriend asked what I was making because he complimented that it smelled great (from the living room)! :) We were both excited that it turned out better than we expected and ecstatic that we got to enjoy a restaurant quality meal in the comfort of our own home! It was delicious! My only complaint was I felt there was not enough rice. Don't get me wrong, maybe there was enough, but I tend to eat much more rice in proportion to the dish.

Tender beef strips, and an assortment of Asian-style vegetables, including broccoli florets, red peppers and water chestnuts. It even includes rice and a rich brown sauce accented with soy and garlic for an authentic flavor experience.

I am glad that I was exposed to this new realm of frozen entrées! I will be definitely trying the other 7 flavors! Kung Pao Chicken, Szechuan Style Chicken, Orange Chicken, Spicy Garlic Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein and Sweet & Spicy Shrimp. I recommend you to try it for yourself!
